About Us

The Durham Light Infantry Association is a dedicated non-profit organisation located in the heart of Durham, England. Established to honour the legacy of the Durham Light Infantry, our association brings together retired soldiers and their families and friends. Members participate in various commemorative events and activities, fostering camaraderie and preserving the rich history of the regiment. People choose the organisation for its strong sense of community, direct support for veterans, and commitment to remembrance. Our activities ensure that the contributions of the Durham Light Infantry are recognised and will be celebrated for generations to come.
