February 20, 2026This office has been notified of the sad news of the death of Col John Davis, President of South Shields Branch of the DLI Association, who passed away last night, 16 February 2026, peacefully in hospital with his family, at the age of 83.
The funeral will be on the 6th of March.
The church service will be at St Hilda’s Church, Coronation Street, South Shields, NE33 1DX at 10:30, followed by the committal at South Shields Crematorium, John Reid Road, South Shields, NE34 9DT at 11:15.
